Do you like Reese’s Peanut Butter cups? Then you’ll love these Soft and Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies! Super quick and simple to make from scratch.
Just like our favorite Oatmeal Cookies. My family loves these soft chewy and unapologetically fudgy peanut butter, full of ooey-gooey, goodness brownies! Probably because they taste just like a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup.
Have you ever noticed that when you want a brownie, you wanted it like 5 minutes ago! I think that’s why this is my favorite thing about this recipe; they are super quick and easy to prepare.

What kind of Peanut Butter is Best?
The great thing about these brownies is that you can use whatever peanut butter you have on hand. Smooth, crunchy or even natural peanut butter. I prefer this brand, but anything will work for this recipe.
You can even substitute almond butter for peanut butter if you prefer.
If you go with natural peanut butter, there’s just a few things to consider:
- Be sure to stir it really well to blend all the oils and solids together.
- Sometimes natural peanut butter can be runnier. Don’t worry, the brownies will still bake up just fine.
- The brownies may come out a little less sweet. You can adjust this by adding some powdered sugar if your preference is a sweeter brownie.

What Can I Add to My Brownies?
Absolutely! The best thing about any brownie recipe is how versatile it is for adding stuff into the brownies.
Here’s just a few things I’ve added to make the brownies more fun. Although, what’s more fun than a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup?
- Freeze-dried raspberries
- Andes mints
- Reese’s peanut butter cups
- Rolos
- Snickers
- Chocolate covered espresso beans
- Mini marshmallows
- Graham crackers
- Pretzels, chopped
- Walnuts
- Pecans
- Carmel sauce on top
Your imagination is the limit on what you can add into these brownies. But if you add something that’s not on this list, please let me know! I’d love to share with my readers (you’ll receive the credit).
